Never heard it used to describe anything good just when something was bad. For example: That sorry ass never shows up to work. He ain't no count!

I can understand some of you not knowing what it means when the ground spews up, but it's hard to believe that in Alabama someone doesn't know what count means when used like it was in the original post.

Count is short for "Account". As in "He is a lying no account SOB." It originally meant accountable or not accountable depending how it's used.

It can also have a positive meaning as in"Man those ribs you grilled tonight were some count".Have heard it used in that context many times.

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life;of whom shall I be afraid?

Acctually he's right. Originally it was only used in the negative but our African American culture shortened it and uses it both ways and we adopted that from them.

I rode up on Saturday afternoon, I didn't find it to be anything special. The big name companies (Moultrie, Summit) had limited products on display. Best deals I seen at the show were through HDC and Woods & Water After, although it still wasn't anything more than a normal sale on overstocked low-end products. After the past few World Deer Expos and now this one I believe I have attended my last one.
