Stan Pate is a piece of trash who needs a good ass whipping.
All these teens out here driving do too; today I was driving through the USPS in Hoover...this 19yo chick in a daddy-bought brand new 4runner backs out without looking and almost took me out when I had the right of way. Stuff like that happens all the time. I drive a lot and people flip me the bird sometimes. It doesn't bother me unless they get real crazy.

Driving an 18 wheeler there is little that I haven't seen. I am slowly learning to just smile at the people and wave. If you get he chance you should thank them for telling you that you're number 1.
Wait till they start to cut in front of you and basically dare you to hit them from behind while doing 70 mph on the interstate, haven't figured that one out yet, won't really matter if the big truck is at fault for rear ending you if you're dead. Sbo, your post made me remember my dad saying the same thing! LOL! He pulled tankers back in his day, and like you, he had seen it all and then some. He shared stories that'd make you wonder if some folks really had a brain in their heads or not. Funny thing is how you said they always tell you "that you're number 1." That's exactly how my dad put it too!
