Their grandparents may have experience oppression, but over the last forty years, they've been given way more advantages than white people. I don't understand where all of this anti-American sentiment comes from. I guess it's my white privilege showing.. I just got done playing a rugby game with whites, blacks. and Latinos. There were guys from Australia, England, South Africa, and the USA.. All playing together with no thought of race, religion, or country. All of those guys identify as American. They are all legal citizens and came here to work and live free. How in the cornbread hell can anyone say that this country oppresses anyone? Some folks start in a bad situation but it can be overcome. Hell, if anything the welfare state is the oppressor of "minorities".. Years ago when Alabama still played at Legion Field, we were at a game versus MTSU. Directly in front of me were 3 muscled up, shaved head military guys (turned out to be Marines), and directly in front of them was a line of about 10 loud, immature guys that I'm guessing were frat boys. When the National Anthem was being played, one of them was talking on his cell phone, and the Marine on the end reached over his shoulder and grabbed his phone, violently slammed it on the concrete, and didn't say a word until the Anthem finished. But Lord he verbally killed that boy when it did! THAT is the kind of stuff that should happen when these idiot celebrities do that @#$#@!
