I recently moved to Birmingham area from Opelika/Auburn. I moved to Calera to be exact. Looking for some hunting options that are close by. Anyone have info and/or tips for hunting the local WMAs? Also, does Oak Mountain State Park still allow bow hunting. If so, is it a lottery and how do I apply for a tag? Thanks!

You have to go through bowhunters of Alabama to hunt oak mountain. You have to apply and get selected. Go to bowhuntersofalabama.org and look under urban deer control for more info.
