The two I saw this weekend were with two hens. Not a very good ratio at all.

Just saw a hen with 9 small poults in my field. Good to see but the poults were literally just bigger than quail. Makes me wonder if maybe the hen didn't loose her first brood and start over.

I saw one hen with about 12 poults this week. They were already big. Not a whole lot smaller than the hen.

I've seen a grand total of two poults. I hate to say it, but I expected doom and gloom from you. Looks to be another solid hatch in my area and from most reports on here, statewide. I hate it for you Matt, but sounds like you have a gar hole
