Are the m25 lock ons any count? Gonna need to replace three stands and been looking at these. Read some good reviews but they were from Yankees and I don't trust the judgement of Yankees

I have two and they are comfortable, just no back on them. A little heavy to hang, for me. The m50 uses the receiver bracket like the bigger stands

Cabelas has them for 109$, with a discount on shipping.

Even with having no back as compared to the m100 it's still comfy?

I have the one that has a chain on "receiver hitch" you attach to the tree and then slide the stand down into it. It is very comfortable but the seat heights is too high for shorter legged people. I usually lay my backpack on the stand and place my feet on it. I can sleep as well as a baby in that stand when I have something under my feet to shorten the distance.

I think I paid about 200.00 for it many years ago. I also miss a shooting rail being on it.

I can't stand a thief.

Buddy of mine who knows all things tree stands says they're kind of pain to hang up. He's owned lots of varieties of stands. I was thinking of one. His comments talked me out of it. I believe the Lone Wolf Assault is his preferred stand. I sat in his LW one afternoon. They're nice.

The 25s and the 50s are great for bow hunting but if you are gonna gun hunt spend the extra change and get the 100 u with the gun rest and the foot rest. That stand bar none is the most comfortable stand I've ever sat in. You can use the gun rest as a arm rest as well. Makes an all day sit actually enjoyable. Gun hunting out of a 25 or 50 is not as comfortable IMO

Amazon sells the 25's for $89.99 shipped. Out of stock right now, but says they will ship in the next 1-2 months. Everything I've ever bought from Amazon that claimed "ships in 1-2 months" shipped within a week or two.

I own both the ones with and without the back. Go ahead and spend the extra money and get the one with the back. It's the most comfortable.

I spent many of hunts last year out of the M25 stands. Very comfortable. If you can spend the extra money for the full seated one do it but if you can't you will still have a more comfortable hunt than you normally would in any other stand.
