I don't have a Speer manual and I'm getting conflicting reports as to what my starting point should be. I'm trying to be safe not sorry here and would appreciate any help. Thanks!!

Top strap was bent up 90 degrees, top three cylinders were blown away. Bottom three still had loaded cartridges in them. We knocked the cylinder out and pulled a shell, then pulled the bullet. 22 grs of powder, 240gr bullet...prob was it was 22gr of Unique powder....a real bad overload by some idiot reloader, brass case had resizing scratches on the walls. Nobody was hurt as all the crap went straight up but it must of been one hell of a bang..... I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted..... proud Cracker-Americaan muslims are like coyotes, only good one is a dead one

I dang sure don't want to screw it up but I'd like for the magnum to do its thing also. I'm starting to think I should have used my Winchester wlp primers instead. Anybody using cci300 primers with 2400?
