There's an old Buggs Bunny cartoon where he is about to enter a desert and a bleached out cattle skull yells out at him, "You'll be soooorrrrryyyyy!!!! First thought that came to my mind. Mike Orlen comes highly recommended. It is possible to do what you have in mind, but it can drive you crazy trying to get both barrels to shoot to the same place. Please test it extensively with your hunting load before sending it off. Also, make sure that the barrel has sufficient metal before you let anyone have it. I have some horror stories if you are interested. Good luck!

Glad you are gonna check it first. I have tested 7 or 8 sxs guns with tss and I've yet to find one that will center a tss load with either barrel, or will shoot both barrels to the same POI. I'm sure there is one out there; I've just not found it.
The strange thing is its not that hard to find one that will center heavy lead turkey loads with both barrels. There is something about tss that makes the right barrel shoot to the right and the left barrel to the left. Its likely that its mainly due to the fact that we are shooting such heavy loads in tss, but I've had guns that still wouldn't shoot it straight with 1.25 oz loads, and the same gun would center lead 1.25 oz loads.
Anyway, test what you wanta hunt with before working on the gun. It is easy to mount the 336 base on some and difficult on others. For guns that have a rib that goes all the way back to the breach its easy; just drill and tap 2 holes and screw it on. For guns with a tapered rib it can require some sort of machining, but it can be done.

If it's a SxS I wouldn't.
I haven't had any O/Us that I couldn't get good results from. But you still see separation from the barrels. Just up and down.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.
