Sam Adams Octoberfest (since it's available during hunting season) or Old Forester

Busch light. I like the beer as it is but the hunting themed cans they put out during the fall make it impossible not to buy. They knew what they were doing when they came up with that design.

I dont drink much beer during hunting season. But i do keep Southern comfort, four roses, Gentleman Jack, wild turkey at the camp, and I also keep a bottle of jager in the freezer. I take a few shots when I get a wild hair...

Crown, Maker's, Jack, Scotch, red wine, beer, whatever's available.
Not drinking during hunting reminds me of 10 years ago when I went on a hunt in Austria. My local guide, a really solid guy, didn't speak a lick of English and I didn't speak AustriGermanaopean so we pointed, nodded and such. After the morning hunt, which was chilly but not OMG cold we all met back at the truck before going in for lunch.
I think there were four or five of us there kicking dirt and waiting for two others when I said, "Man, a hit of schnapps would knock off the chill." The guy from Canada understood me. The guy from, I think, Norway or Sweden understood me (since they smartly learn about 7-8 languages). The two local hunters helping as guides only heard "schnapps" and whipped out a handle from the truck.
Well, hell. I didn't want to be rude because the cap already was off. And we were going to be taking about a 90-minute break. So I took a good slug and passed it to the next guy with a look of, "I ain't going to be the only one, so drink." Everyone took a slug. It was good and damn sure took off the chill.
Lunch was an open fire with a huge pot of hearty stew, loaves of crusty baguette-style bread, some pickles and such, and doggone if they didn't have cases of beer and more schnapps or vodka. Fortunately the had non-alcoholic drinks. Heck of an enjoyable lunch. Saw some small stag that afternoon but never got a shot at anything. Gorgeous country.

Talking about taking the chill off……..When I was a teenager I used to tag along behind my uncle through the woods on every hunt. He pretty much taught me all of the basics of hunting. He and I used to walk to the top of one of those mountains up there in Jackson Co to go hunting back in those days. It was a good little tote from the old cabin at the bottom to the very top where he liked to set up. It took a while to walk it so we would periodically sit down and take a break long enough for him to drag down another Marlboro red. Well one bitter cold Ol Hi morning…..I don’t think it even gets this cold anymore…..he and I were headed up before daylight and taking a rest at one of our normal check points. He looks and sees me shaking and says….”Boy...Are you cold?”…..and I reply….”Hell yeah, I’m freezing this morning.”….. Without missing a beat, he reaches in under a rock beside him and pulls out a bottle of Canadian Mist. He says “Here, take a horn off of that….it’ll warm your insides up.”….I was a little taken back by the fact that he had just produced a bottle of whiskey out of thin air in the dark but I accepted the offer none the less. Sure enough, it warmed up my insides. We took a couple swigs each and then he capped it and hid it back under that rock…..and that is how I learned at a young age how to take the chill off. I like Wild Turkey 101 & Coke.

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Since Alabama hunting season(s) can cover about half the year, it sort of depends on the weather, etc. But here's my list...
bourbon: Old Forester rye: Templeton scotch: The Famous Grouse gin: Tanqueray vodka: Tito's tequila: Los Cazadores (has the added feature of a name that translates as "The Hunters" and has a large rack buck on the label. Plus it's very good tequila.)
