Buddy of mine does. I think he has an arm that screws in the tree that he pus camera on. It's one more thing to keep up with but he gets a lot of enjoyment from it.

I use a GoPro to film myself, and then a simple handheld flip open camera with 16x zoom for filming the deer

I'm still working on killin em. when I master that, then ill tote a camera... But I would love to be able to film it too

I've been following this guy on YouTube for a couple of years. He's been self filming for several years and flat kills some deer. He's in Tennessee and kills alot on public land

My dad self films himself bow hunting. He made a camera mount for his stabilizer and uses a regular video camera on it. It quick detaches, so you can take it on or off and film deer.

I believe he has 1 deer kill in Missouri on film, around 150" 10pt, then 1 8 120" 8pt in alavama.

I haven't killed enough good deer to risk botching it quite yet.

I did it for several years. I actually have over 100 kills on camera of multiple species, both mine and others kills.

I filmed several of these with intentions of starting an actual "outdoor show" but I realized that I couldn't film and hunt the way I wanted to so I stopped.

I have tinkered with it.....it is a Sport all in itself!
But, as others have mentioned, it definitely increases the challenge. And, with the crew I hunt with, not to mention myself, you just about have to edit all the 'talk' out of it! LOL

I just use my iPhone now to fill any good opportunities.

We film some of our night hunts. It dang sure does increase the difficulty of the hunts.

A buddy of mine ran HunterCam Cradle. They made camera arms that worked great but he has since closed the business.

WE filmed for years but it kind of took the fun out of it for me. If the deer was not in view of the camera then you could not shoot and other stuff like that. I always liked having the footage but it took the fun out of hunting for me.

Be sure to scream "Smoked it!" and shake your fist whenever you kill something.

Squeezed into a tiny elevated box blind with a camera guy on a hunt many years ago. I could see out the windows to his right and behind, but not get a gun through either of them. Asked him what we'd do if "the big one" stepped out.

"Nothing. Can't shoot at anything if I can't get the camera on it."

Screw that. I haven't hunted with a cameraman ever since and don't want to.

I filmed several bow kills for other people, but never filmed myself. We actually made some really good videos back in the old days of Beta and VHS. I had more fun filming than I did hunting. I don't have any of the tapes, but it would be cool to convert them to a dvd.

I wanted to start see filming hunts this year on Lowndes and Autauga WMA but doesn't look like I'll be able to
