Started pulling small baits out of my tackle the other day to make a "creek box" not knowing when I might get to fish a small water. I may get to this weekend. I got little cranks like Bitsy Pond Minnow, Panther Martin, Rooster Rail, rooster tail spinner with keystone minnow, Mepps, Rebel craw, couple plastic grubs, horsey head, Lil George. What else do I need?

Maybe a hula popper!

I love those little crank baits. Caught lots of creek bass on them.

Looks good. I would add some cricket hooks floater and small split shots. You might want to did a worm or catch a hopper sometime.

I also vote a small Rapala. Also small lizards to throw weightless in the eddies.

A rebel Wee-R is the best creek lure that I've ever used.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Don't underestimate the small creeks. If you only throw small stuff you'll attract lots of small bass and bream. There are some bigger fish in there than you might imagine. I've caught good bass on a regular Paca Craw in small streams. A larger jointed Rapala is another good bait to carry.

Cast net bait bucket and catch some creek chubs then throw them weight less in deep pools. You will be amazed at what you catch.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Rooster Tail, Beetle Spin, and a micro buzz bait, and you can leave the rest at home and still do just as well!
