X2....Durana is good if the soil isn't dry as a bone. I'd pull a soil sample as well and see how bad your pH and Ca situation looks..... or just assume its bad and go ahead and apply some lime.

I found planting a little earlier in shaded spots helps too, just my opinion, but I plant the regular big buck blend from the co-op ^ yep.

Clover is your best option in shade, but how many hours of sunlight does it get? Honestly, I'm not sure.
