I got nothing to shoot my broadheads at had a piece of a 3D deer I shot at for years but but it essentially disintegrated. Want something that doesn't cost a fortune. What y'all using?

I've used stacked up and compressed layers of carpet. Cut them about 12" x 36".

I have a blob...the crude looking puke green colored cube made from carpet backing/adhesive/whatnot. It's the most resilient stuff I've ever dealt with. It's great for field points or broadheads and relatively cheap...definitely when compared to Rinehart. The downside is it's heavy and awkward, although I feel pretty sure I could cut the thing to whatever size I wanted with a chainsaw and make it portable.

I had one of the blobs. I bought it at a Pro/Am in South Carolina. That was probably the best broadhead target I ever had. I shot that joker for probably 5 years. The foam was identical to Rinehart's foam. Joker was heavy as hell too. All of the ones I've seen around here have not been the same quality. They're either too soft letting the arrows bury up to the fletches, or they're too hard. You need a come-along to remove a carbon arrow from it.

I don't have a Rinehart, but have felt them and figured they must've appropriated, and maybe refined, the old Blob material. Are they easier to pull carbon shafts out of?

That'd be nice. The blobs I've had have been so heavy you didn't wanna move them, but that was cool too, since they can stay out in the weather for years and hold up. The one I have now is about five years old and never been under a roof...it'll stop anything, including 350fps crossbow bolts with ease.

I'd love to have a blob. Can you still get em?
