Moving into the new house this weekend. Hopefully finished with the big stuff on Sunday and busy doing odds and ends Monday. Gonna fire up the Weber Kettle and cook a little Monday night, sit back and relax on my porch with my wife, listen to my boys play and sip a little George Dickel.

Looks like I'm gonna be babysitting three puking drunk gals (my gal and her two running buddies) with hangovers in the mid morning tomorrow. I bought an entire handle of Fireball today, it's about three fingers left in the bottom, and they just changed over to the Westerhalls Plantation rum. They gonna hate theyself in the A.M.
Sheesh. Damn Woody, There's getting a buzz and having fun and then there getting all crunk... My youngest daughter is 27 and she will still hang out with her buddies and do that. Some people take a while to learn. I'm all for throwing back a few, but I don't like feeling like the walking dead the next day...

We're heading up to Boaz, AL today to hang with Mrs. Irish's extended family and eat. Then one we are done with that we're headed over the mountains to the cabin for the rest of the weekend. Going to build a door for my crawl space and for my storm shelter. I told Mrs. Irish I was going to have about 6 drinks and wire up the breaker box... She snorted Martini up her nose last night when I told her that one... We'll sit on our back deck Sunday night and watch the fireworks displays of several of the small towns in the valleys below.

Man that sounds great. Fund raiser or just a large family? Like others I wish you were closer.

stay off the damn roads, keep the gate locked, beer cold, ribs hot..... Like Troy. I don't go out on amateur night -New Years. Or hit the lake on holidays. Be interesting to hear some "on the water stories" next week. But, Lake Martin will start slowing down after next week. Here's to you Pawpaw.
