Mrs. Irish halved some Brussels sprouts and tossed them in a Ziploc with:

Olive oil
Siracha
Salt
Pepper

I marinated some chicken in:

Olive oil
Orange juice
Salt
Pepper
Red pepper flakes
Cumin
Chili powder
Garlic powder

We had some fresh corn and just cut the ends off and wrapped them husks and and all in aluminum foil

I started the Kamado with a few cotton balls soaked in alcohol and in about 15 minutes it was ready to grill...

After about 10 minutes of the corn and the Brussels cooking I added the chicken. When the everything was almost done I drizzled the Brussels in honey. [I will drizzle the chicken next time too, to balance the spicy heat.] It was all good though.

You can't beat a Friday night, hanging out on the back deck with a nice cold Four Roses, manning the grill and listening to some music...

We squeezed out the corn from the shucks, sans silk, buttered them and added salt and pepper. Served it with some whole wheat dinner rolls that were buttered, sprinkled with garlic and toasted on the grill too...

Did I say I'm lovin' this grill? grin

From the time I lit the grill with cotton balls until the time dinner was served was less than one hour! That includes prep time and everything. Can't beat that. And we didn't heat up the house either!

I know. I never cared for Brussels until Mrs. Irish started hittin' 'em with the siracha and honey. Now they're my favorite vegetable.

Cooking for friends and family is a joy.
Cooking for just anybody is a chore.

I lay the corn directly on the grill, no foil, and once the husk is browned and dried out, just set fire to it and let it burn off of the corn, it takes the silk with it...then, as you said, butter and enjoy!
