I don't know if I will ever catch a coyote but I bought a big live trap today. Its supposedly made for yotes.

I will probably only catch coons, and opossums.

Has anyone on here had success with catching predators in a live trap?

I have had one get in one and tear it up. It was a smaller one that probably didn't close all the way with him inside and he bent it all up rolling around with it and left nothing but a beat up trap and a bunch of hair.

It's gonna be hard (not impossible) to catch a coyote in a cage trap. I know of several that have been trapped in cages but never heard of anyone having great success.
