Have it bead blasted. It shouldn't cost much.

I assume it's a savage. That's the only stainless gun I've ever seen with an obnoxiously shiny barrel. Regartless, have it bead blasted.

Easiest way? Take it outside & use it. After a few birthdays that shine will be a thing of the past. All the above mentioned methods work well too

Put a mossy Oak skin on it, if you want to change it just take it back off when you are ready. It won't leave any adhesive on the gun

Flat black spray paint. Cost you about $5.

Paint or tape is going to be the easiest. Bead blasting will work but of you are not wanting to remove the scope, make dang sure you wrap the scope up in a plastic bag, then seal that and wrap it again, maybe a couple more times and seal that. That blast media is very fine and will get in the threads of the ocular eyepiece adjustment and make it dang near impossible to turn.

You'd have the same issue with cerakote since it has to be abrasive blasted - not bead blasted- prior to spraying. Also, leaving the scope on will limit you to air cure cerakote only. You can't bake the barrel with the scope still attached

I've owned a savage weather warrior for over 20 years, and to be honest never worried about the shine. I'm sure its dulled some over time.
