300-350. I'd go safe and say 350 for sure.

Go with the 300 like Shaw says.

Shaw and Jughead: For my own education, how do you determine which spine arrows to use? The only thing I know how to do is google the arrow selection charts and when I enter hard cam (which I don't think the vendetta is) with 29 inch draw at 72 lbs and 29 inch arrow with 100 grain tip, it suggests 340? Also, the OP had a question mark after the 29 inch arrow as if he doesn't know how long he wants/needs his arrows. Shaw do you have a basic rule on how long you would prefer your arrows to be based on draw length? I shoot 28.5 inch draw length, but I believe my arrows are 27 or 27.5 inches, I'll have to measure when I get home. Thanks

My arrows actually are 29 1/4 inch. I wasn't sure exactly. The ones I am shooting now are 350 spine they are Victory Deer Busters 60/75. Most of them seem to fly well. I just wanted to make sure I am shooting the right arrows. I need to buy some more.

It's been my experience that broadheads fly more consistently on the stiff end of a bow's "range" of acceptable arrow spine (seems like all of them will tune up fine with arrows in +/- .025 spine range). You'll also get better arrow penetration on the stiff end of the range. A 330ish IBO bow is pretty agressively cammed in my opinion and should tune up just fine with a .300 arrow spine, especially at 29" and 72#.

Thank you very much for the recommendations. The reason my arrows are so long. I like my arrows to be a little longer. I like my broadheads out in front of the shelf.

I normally cut my arrows the same length as my draw length to keep the broadhead in front of the shelf. I don't recommend cutting them more than 1" shorter than the draw length. As for the cam selection, I always use the hard cam for a solo cam. I always go with the stiffer spine. As Jughead stated, the stiffer spine will tune better. It is nearly impossible to get an under spined arrow to tune out right, especially when shooting fixed heads. Even on a 3D set up my arrows are way over spined according to the charts. According to them I should be shooting a 500 spine. I shoot a 300 spine Gold Tip Pro 22 Series. On my Buckmaster's set up I'm pulling 3# less and I shoot a 500 spine Easton Light Speed.

Thank You very much. I am going to go with the 300 spine, now what arrow do I want to try this year? Victory? Gold Tip? Easton? Beaman? Carbon Express? Carbon Force? Suggestions?

My honest opinion, drop your draw weight down to 68# and go with a 340 spine Gold Tip 7595 XT. You really don't need to pull 72# with a 29" draw to hunt any North American animal.
