I thought I would post this here before putting it on racing junk and CL.
I have a 400 small block I would like to sale. The engine is complete is a cast iron block (509) casting. We ran this in one of our prostreet cars for a very short period of time, then on the street in a Camaro. The engine was pulled rebuilt and a new cam put in and ran for break in about 200 miles before being removed for a different setup in the Camaro. It is bored 0.030 has forged flattops in it a cast crank, and a set of professionally ported camel hump heads (I cant remember which number but will look if someone is interested) I have a brand new in the box MSD billet distributor that goes with the setup and I think a 750 Holley carb which will probably need rebuilt.
If anyone is interested shoot me an email and we can discuss details. This would be hard to build today as most of the older castings have been used up. I will take $1500 for the complete engine if anyone is interested

No the 509 castings are two bolt but we're perfered by some as they have more material left. I know some guys who have made some crazy power with a two bolt but I guess it's what you prefer.

Same motor I built .30 over with a 350 cranks. De-stroked and made tons of power. Much rather have the 2 bolt

The heads were ported by Bennett racings guru and the engine assembled by their engine builder.
