Good built trap. I've only got 2 of them but I've caught a couple coyotes and fox with them and they hold.

The #3 is over 6"s on jaw spread on the bridgers. Your gonna have to stay with the #2 to be legal in bama.

These No. 3 are inside laminated. 6 1/16 th outside BUT 5 and 9/16s inside so they will be legal in Alabama. Their a BEAST of a trap and I will only use them in sand , on hunting clubs where no dogs should be. I like MB-650s, but these are MUCH cheaper.

I have 6 of the Bridger #2 dogless that I got on 40's recommendation. They are the 4 coil, offset, modified. They have done really well and are easy to set. I will be ordering more. Thanks. Any idea of what type of pan tension the traps have? I like about 3-4 lbs for coyotes. How does the trap adjust out? Does it have creep? Do they go off smoothly?

I have a dozen 2s and they are good traps. I had to adjust the pan to flatten it out, just loosen up a bolt and tap the pan out. I did a little file work on the dog to lighten the tension, but it is nice and crisp and a nice built trap. So what lbs do they go off at? Im wanting 3-4 lbs. IS it more or less than 3-4 lbs? What is the tension like , in lbs?

You'll have to do some tuning on them to get the creep out and level them back up. You'll be happy with pan tension on them also. Like Coonhunter said they're a nice built trap.

I went with them because of the size. I had to do a lot of filing and working with mine to get them on a hair trigger at 4 lbs. Had one or two that wouldn't do it and there is a little creep. Probably overkilled it. They're like a Jewel trigger. Break like glass

I have a dozen and like them. I did some file work on mine and actually got them a little too light for my liking. I can't keep coons out of them.
