Here's a few I've been doing lately. Lookin for some feedback on em. Both are 2.5yo Baldwin County deer. One was from Perdido WMA. [img:left]http:// [/img] [img:left]http:// [/img]

Thanks guys. Lots of folks have liked the jute rope. Think I'm gonna make a bunch of plaques like that.

I've noticed when I do mine at too high temps, the bones above the nasal cavity begin to separate as yours are. I have started simmering mine at lower temperatures and I use a cyanoacrylate with a curing agent to fuse them back together if they still separate.
Other than that they look good!

Other than that they look good! You have a good eye. I simmer mine as well. The only time a nasal cavity separates for me is when it is a young deer. This one wasn't very noticeable so I didn't worry about it.

Other than that they look good! You can put a rubber band tight around the bones to prevent that from happening.
