If Trump wants to pull in the Cruz folks, openly state he'll nominate Cruz to Scalia's vacant seat. Filling that seat with a young constitutionalist would help to prevent judicial overreach for the next 40 years. It would also bring the conservative portion of the party back into the mix. Your thoughts?

Cruz would be a perfect fit and provide balance since the SC has tilted left since Scalia passed.

Cruz on the SC would be better for us, long term, than him being president.
I agree as well!

And if it'd mean that the establishment would be able to get him out of Congress so they don't have to deal with him he may get a fast track appointment.

Ultimately, I doubt seriously that Ted Cruz will trust anything any of them say and would not accept any Trump nomination of himself for the post. I'm pretty sure he'll be running for POTUS again.
I disagree. I do not think there is a chance in hell that Cruz would turn down a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court with the opurtunity to frame the future of this country for generations....

I agree with BigT. I think if Cruz were offered the chance at SCOTUS he'd do it in a millisecond.

I agree 100% he's worked real closely with the SCOTUS in the past and would welcome that appointment. And we NEED him there
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I believe, now, that Trump will win in a landslide in November. If he does I hope he first gets Cruz on the SCOTUS and then Jeff Sessions.
