I voted for Cruz also but I'll be Damned If I'll vote for that Bitch, so I got to vote for the option we have. x2 Anyone that doesn't is a democrat plain and simple. Trump is the republican choice. Some of you so called republicans act like your doing our country a favor for by withholding your vote. Get off your high horse and pull your weight or stop claiming to be republican.

LOL...wow. Dang guys some of you seem crushed over Trump winning!
WTH? I voted for Cruz but he lost..and now dropped out.
It will be Trump for the republicans and either Hitlery or Bernie for the dems.
That is the REALITY of the situation.
The OVERWHELMING majoity of Americans, (conservatives..and yes EVEN evangilicals!) voted for Trump.
It is a PROCESS of turning out the Best candidate for the general election. it happens every 4 years.
You pick your best guy, cast your vote and hope that the rest of Americans do.
A lot of us voted for someone who lost.
Guess what...? deal with it! It is HOW the process works.
Some of you guys get so invested in your candidate that youd think youd go run their dang state campaign!
Then, when they lose..its all "doom and gloom", "end of the world", "there goes America as we know it" crap.
Thats not only ridiculous but makes no sense. No...the world WILL keep turning and the country will keep running.
Some of you dont believe Trump stands for what he says. YOU dont trust him.
But, obviously MORE people believed what he said then they did "your" guy, whoever he was out of the 17 candidates.
So, now is the time for unity. If YOUR guy won..youd be ALL ABOUT everyone getting behind him.
Well, he didnt,(MINE EITHER), but we all need to get behind the guy who did.
Anything less is HYPOCRITICAL..meaning ..Oh if Trump lost all his voters should rally behind Cruz,..but hell no...Cruz supporters should NEVER support Trump. That is some serious one way BS IMO.
Both trump and Cruz were very similiar IMO . They were anti establishment, anti Obozo, pro America, against illegal immigration, strong on the refugee crisis, pro coal, pro economy, pro 2nd amendment, pro states rights, against Obozocare, pro law enforcement, pro religious rights and against the war on christianity....and the LIST GOES ON!
They both had more in common them 90% of the other guys!
People are pissed..they are against politicians, and things as usual. That is WHY both Trump and Cruz did so well.
That is why BERNIE is doing so well too. It is on BOTH sides!
Trump will beat Hitlery. He will have MY Vote when he does! He went through the process and WON. I will respect that process as this is definitely NOT the GOP's choice, but the PEOPLES Choice.
Trump 2016! Well said.

Trump 2016! Well said. x2 I never 'chose' between the 2... Cruz is a lifetime politician...part of the establishment. And Trump is odd... BUT...Trump is a MUCH better choice than Hillary (closet Socialist) or Bernie the Muppet (admitted Socialist) Only election I can remember where I didnt hold my nose and vote was Reagan...and HE was the despised 'out of establishment' candidate for you younger folks...

I'm not a republican. I'm an independent conservative. So, you didn't vote for Cruz? As an independent I can vote for whomever I please. Heck, as a republican, you can too. An R or a D doesn't mean a thing these days.

the 2 important questions you have to ask yourself about trump is #1. Does he have the ability and know how, to make this country better than it is? Yes, even though the bar is low. He has the ability to make it great again.
#2. probably more important is , will he? I feel like he will, to what degree? i don't know. But this man is not a loser, all his life he's won. He's got the drive and tenacity to see this thing through to the end.
For without victory, there is no survival

Kinda funny, though, you didn't answer the question.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Each person should vote their own convictions. I won't be shamed into supporting something I don't believe in and frankly I don't care if others like it or not.

Registered Republican. My father is a registered democrat that has voted straight Republican for 50 years so I don't think his registration means he's a democrat.

I didn't realize we were registered one or the other.
I showed my ID at the polling station and they asked me if I wanted a democrat sheet or a republican sheet Alabama is an open primary state. You can vote in either primary but you can only choose one. When I registered to vote 25 years ago I am pretty sure I had to choose a party but that doesn't mean I can't vote for a democrat, even though I never have.

Yall better stock up on guns and ammo cuz President Hillary is coming. We truly missed out on our last hope to restore America after the last 8 years of BS. Hillary, with the help of the media, will absolutely eviscerate Trump in the months to come. Let's face it...a guy who spouts off BS about Senator Cruz's father being involved in the JFKS assassination? Really? You expect him to win the general?! Good luck with that. I know that I won't be voting for Donald or Hillary I still don't understand you on this. My best attempt at an analogy everyone would understand; We are going to the hunting club this weekend and I ask everyone if they want steaks, burgers or chicken? Everyone in the camp voted burgers and chicken except for you, so I bought enough burgers and chicken for everyone. When we get there, instead of picking burger or chicken, you choose to go hungry because you say you'll only eat steak Just pick burger or chicken. Don't go hungry JBC, you need new members. What dumbass picks burgers or chicken over steak? But seriously... I understand people (such as Bill and Ben2) who only vote their principles. However I pray they never lose their job. Because they would never find another one, because every job that is available would not be the perfect one. Wrong hours, too far to drive to get there, they make you were a colored shirt that is a color you despise. Another analogy would be back in high school you thought Tiffany Amber Thieseen was the perfect female. There was a big dance coming and you didnt take one of the girls from school, because none of them were as perfect as Tiffany. So you sat at home while someone else took the girl from class who liked you. She fell in love with the other guy and now you are a 50 year old hermit living in a van down by the river. Trump aint my first selection, but he is at least saying some of the things I agree with. Hillary is saying NOTHING I agree with, so I will vote for whoever is not named Hillary.
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

Actually, I'd hire either of them in a second (although neither of them would ever need me to). And I'd bet there are many out there that would do the same. Having principles, morals and convictions AND actually standing for them means a lot to most people. I applaud them both for standing firm to what they believe in. Most people that grounded actually make good employees and are productive citizens.

No such thing as a perfect candidate. You will have to compromise some with any of them. I'm just not willing to completely sell out. The better analogy would be choosing between horse crap and dog crap. One might not smell as bad as the other but I'm choosing neither. As far as jobs, I've been self employed for over 20 years so I might work for a jerk but I have no room to complain. I was married for 9 years and that van down by the river got to looking pretty good toward the end of it.
