From what I read, after his organs were harvested, Sollohub was taken to Huntsville for an autopsy, then escorted by Anniston police, and other law enforcement agencies from around the state, back to Anniston for his funeral. Based on the number of vehicles, I would think almost every agency in the state was represented. I think I even saw a game warden's truck as part of the escort .
In Glencoe, the escort was greeted by a Rainbow City ladder truck displaying a giant American flag.
