I know it's a long shot but I am relocating to the Central Florida area and looking for a lease in the area to mainly hunt hogs. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

There was a guy on Archery talk last year that had a lease. I believe you can find clubs, but they are very expensive.

Pick up a Woods & Water magazine. They're easy to find once you get east of Marianna but slim on this end of the panhandle. Look on their website and they have a listing of places that carry it.

They have what I think is a pretty good classifieds section with hunting leases in it.

I hunted as a guest on one of those hunting clubs on the Deseret Cattle Ranch land. I killed my Osceola that trip. Pretty cool place. They have bigger deer than you'd think.

The leases down here usually get you "A" Stand and a given perimeter around that stand, say 300" or so. Just blows my mind at what people will pay for.

I lived there 11 years ago. I got back into my old lease. Luckily the club president I got into the lease almost 20 years ago.

I don't think they have a website. A Google search showed some contact info on some Florida sportsmans forums.

And this is similar in the one I'm familiar with. The lease is like 7000 acres but you get like 3 100 acres parcels that are yours. You don't get access to the full 7000 acres

I'm in east Orlando area ...trust me its cheaper to buy your own land than lease it around here....morman property across the way is over 6000.00 a membership and you don't get much for that.....I will keep driving to my Alabama land....good luck..
