There is some folks on Skyline that need to be throat punched big time. I was just passing through pal Five shots over me and the daughters head Wed at a bird we had coming at 50 yds.... Today had one at full stut at 75 she done pulled the hammer back and the bird turns inside out running look over here comes idiot with arm full of decoys walking straight by us to bird. Sometimes I wish I was a badass.

I did slide a cheap shell in and make sure the bird was good and spooked...I think I heard that fellow trip and fall going back down the mtn.

Sometimes I wish I was a badass. Good night alive brother! I guess I need to stop right now and thank the Lord that I at least haven't been endangered. I have darn sure had about 3 seasons worth of idiots running off turkeys already though! Crap is getting frustrating....especially when you pull up and one of the idiots is telling you about how one of your "friends" told him about all of the turkeys there, place is covered up, etc. etc. I've just about had my fill. I've got to find a private place closer to Huntsville and quick.

The guy that shot 5 times bellied crawled in and emptied his gun at 75 yds and never cut a feather...We were down hill and the bird was between us it was directly over our heads flying the last 2 shots. I jumped up and went his way and she went to the Jeep the POS took off running.

I know it's a place to hunt. Some guys it's all they have to hunt. I myself just try to stay clear of public land. I have a lease joining Nat Forest but I have not stepped foot on it to turkey hunt for this same reason. Hard to hunt when it's not managed for safety.
Wonder why they don't have sign in stations so a guy can go hunt and not dodge shots.
