a good way "back in the day" to tell a horse's age and overall health was checking their teeth. But if someone gave you a horse as a gift, it would seem rude to then check to see how healthy it is, since it was a gift.
So, "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" Exactly... In other words if someone gives you something or some unexpected windfall comes your way, it is rude and unwise to scrutinize it too much.

Ol' George was the first mule breeder in the US , he even imported Jacks from Spain . Little country boy trivia for ya'll.

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

I heard this one all the time growing up. My dad still says it but I heard it the other day and I figured I needed to post it to try and further yalls education.
The expression: "I'll swunny." (pronounced like sunny with a W in it)
Okay, somebody besides 2Dogs use it correctly in a sentence.....The winner gets all leftovers from straycats next double cheeseburger meal.
