At the age of 7. I was hired as an exotic male dancer. The Chippendales were at a low point since the freak machete accident. I felt I could help them out for a short time. From there, I moved on to break-dancing. There was some good money to be made back in the early 80's traveling the rap circuit.

I grew up on a working farm......as soon as I turned 16 and could drive I got me a real job so I could relax lol Big T im the same way. I grew up an orphan..on foster farms...and lived on some big farms. They grew vegatables for a living, and ran a dairy farm as well as boarded and raised horses. we stacked between 21,000 to 23,000 square bales a year. I threw bales when they weighed more then me. I grew up weeding/picking since I was REALLY young. My friends loved summer break..I dreaded it. Young Irish boy in those fields..I looked like a freakin lobster after the first few days out there working in the fields. I remember having to feed cows/horses every am before school since I can remember too. I couldnt wait to break out and away. One farm also had a bodyshop...and I grew up taping and wet sanding cars for paint when I was 12-13. I remember working all summer 2 years. One for a 10 speed bike..the next for a mini bike. At 14-15 I could prime , paint, and started even painting murals with Binks Mini guns. I blew out and away from being a "Ward of the state" and foster homes at 15 years old to Texas..all on my own, and never looked back. Went looking for jobs in bodyshops Got jobs in all mexican body shops..where they called me"pinche pokeeto gringo muchacho". I thought it was cool..until I learned it was the "f#*@in little white boy!" LOL. I liked working hard and still do.

16. Worked at Captain Ds in fortpayne for 4 yrs. Most weeks as many hrs as was legal for a minor during high school. Didn't work as much during basketball season. Once college started me and JBatey would drive to Gadsden State from Dutton (60+- miles each way) then stop at Fort payne on our way home and work 2-close as Managers. During summer break we picked up 2nd jobs with a moving company working when we were needed. That was the toughest work I've done I believe, as far as manual labor. Once graduating we started in the HVAC field and been at it ever since. 28yo now.

When I was old enough to contribute to whatever was being done on the farm. I had my own hammer, tape measure and nail apron when I was 10 and I dang well knew how to use it. I was driving a tractor by myself and bush hogging on our farm at 12.
I had my first "public" job when I was 13. I worked for a man that lived a few houses down the road. I helped him bale hay for the public. I was driving a tractor on the road, by myself at 13. That was a long time ago and a different world back then. No way I'd let my son drive an open cab tractor down the road at 13.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Heck I don't ever remember not doing some kinda work. My grandad had a farm so from the time I could walk I was helping him with cows, fences, bush hogging, bailing hay, cutting fire wood, ect.. Then my dad got me some yards to cut when I was around 12yrs old but didn't do that to long. I was 14yrs old when I started working with a friends dad greasing and steam cleaning logging equipment. By the time I was 15 I was going to the woods with him bunching wood on the weekend getting a feel for the equipment. After a few years of working with him in the woods he was killed in accident out there and I ended up on his nephews crew. By the time I was 18 I had gotten more interested in land clearing and site prep for tree planting. I started running dozers raking, building roads for logging crews, pushing fire lines, and even got to do some control burning. Now it's been 10 years since those days, I'm 29 now, I work shift work at a mill and have my own dozer and forestry service.
