15. I used to ride a 3 Wheeler to work since I wasn't old enough to drive. General painting, weed eating, tons of mowing, truck washing, and whatever else they needed me to do at a waste waster treatment plant. Going from that to scouting cotton as a summer job was the best career decision I ever made. I went off to school with a decent amount of money in my pocket.

Dad started taking me to work with him soon as I was out of diapers.. I started working summers and some weekends with dad when I was 10. Worked at a carwash some weekends when I was 15-16. Worked at a grocery store when I was 16 but got caught sleeping on milk crates lined with packs of toilet paper, lol. Graduated on a Thursday and right back plumbing on Monday when I was 17. Quit dad and worked in construction for a couple of years until the economy tanked and I've been back since 08.. 30 years old and Part owner of the company now.

Cut okra for a local farmer one summer when I was 12 on halves. Worst job I ever had.
Left there and started bagging ice for the local nutjob that owned the ice company in town for $1.50/hr, plus all the free ice I wanted. Loved the job, and thought I was getting rich. Stayed there until I was 16 and got a job bagging groceries at minimum wage.

I cut yards in my neighborhood starting around 12 years old.
Started working at Wal Mart cleaning bathrooms and pushing buggies when I was 16 years old. Worked there until I got out of High School and then got a job as a runner (delivering inter departmental mail at UAB) and went to school in the evenings and at night. Once I graduated, I caught on at U.S Steel and started as a laborer wrapping and banding coils. In two years I was promoted to Entry End Operator, Waste Treatment Operator, Coiler, Tester, and then finally Quality Manager. Did that for another year and then got recruited to my current job. I worked in Quality Control for 5 years helping to set up Quality Systems and doing Electrical Tech work. I was asked to move to an Engineering job in 2006 which is where I have been ever since.

First paying job was working for my girlfriend's dad at 14 yrs old. He made plaques for taxidermists for deer and fish mounts then got into making picture frames. Mostly helped out spraying the plaques in the spray booth but would occasionally help out in the wood shop.
First real job was at 16 years old...got my license the Monday after my 16th birthday (birthday was on a Saturday that year), and stopped on the way home and started putting in applications. Started working for WalMart the following Monday.

At 14 I made about $400 cutting yards one summer. I picked watermelons too. At 16 I had my first "real" job digging sewer lines and water lines for a plumber in the hot Florida Summer sun. It would probably kill me now if I tried to do it.

15 was my first real job worked on a welding fab shop , carrying messuring and cutting metal for whatever the welders were burning. Before that I cut grass in the summers and worked on a landscaping crew my dad owned . I don't even remember how old I was when I started working . My dad was always working and I was always helping , cows, fences , cutting grass , working at the nursery planting and potting plants, landscaping. Started climping Poles on a line crew at 17 and I'm 35. Now, I let the young bucks do it most of the time , every now and then I have to show one up.

I mowed yards around the neighborhood from about 10-15. Got my first W2 job at 16. Been supporting welfare recipients ever since. I'll be 33 next week.

I cleaned condos on the beach when I was 13 and 14. By the time I was 16 I was mowing yards for some of the teachers at school.
