Would the proposed regulation change allow for baiting turkeys?

I'm guessing that turkey hunters are more proper and would be opposed of such nonsense. What say you?

Oh, they are going to get baited. Just more in the fall and winter now. -- Don't make it legal, though.

The current bill in the senate only applies to deer and feral hogs.

Maybe one day it'll include turkeys.

Are turkey's lives more sacred? Or are turkey hunters more ethical?

No on both accounts.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

How many aldeer members do you think will be at a feed store today or tomorrow buying turkey delight, cracked corn, milo, wheat, scratch feed, corn, etc? I used to work at a feed store and we would sell the crap out of all of this stuff on Fridays and Saturdays from the end of deer season through turkey season just like we would corn during deer season.

Why not? It won't hurt anything. If people are gonna kill over the limit, they gonna do it anyway, right? At least that's what I keep getting told.

If I am not mistaken buying corn, feed, etc today or tomorrow and putting it out is not illegal now or even during the season as long as it is gone for 10 days before you hunt that area. Just like putting bait out for deer, you can put it out but before you hunt that area it has to be gone for 10 days. Not a hard regulation to comply with. If your suppositions are correct, there are a lot of illegal hunters that need a little visit by the GW.

I would just assume that if you are buying feed you are buying it in hopes of benefiting from it in which you are probably hunting over it. This is just my opinion and I was curious if I was the only person that felt this way.

There is such a thing as "pre-season scouting", ya know. If the local Co-Op's over-run w/turkey hunters on the weekend of 3/12-13, then I'd buy into your assumption.
