I hear you can put corn in a straight line away from your stand and in one shot you can kill multiple turkeys.

It's called "trenching". The old timers used to do it to feed their families.

I've heard that trotlining worked too! shocked

Eventually turkey season will only be 5 days long, might as well pile the Turkey Delight up, sit on it and kill 3 opening morning! Will save a lot of gas money or you can just start fishing earlier! Whatever these geniuses come up with is what we are stuck with

Yep; I think ole Cap'n Feathers (T. Kelly) mentioned it in his book, if my memory's right.

Do you want it to? Personally I think it would be terrible but I'm afraid it's gonna happen eventually

Why not? It won't hurt anything. If people are gonna kill over the limit, they gonna do it anyway, right? At least that's what I keep getting told.

Heck I guess If a man wants to sit and watch a pile of corn to kill a few then have at it. Ain't gonna bother me none just be careful and don't shoot any hens and you should be fine

I don't see how the attractiveness for the turkeys would be any different than hunting a peanut field.
