Last day of the season two years ago, I was walking up my wooden stairs to put the guns away. I was carrying them in soft cases but for some reason I had not zippered them up completely.

Well, as if in slow motion, I get to the top stair and both cases tilt down and out slide my rifles bouncing all the way down the stairs. My wife was freaking out over scuffs on the stairs but I was worried about my guns.

Fixed the scuff marks easy enough but went to the range the next day and shot both rifles. They were still dead on. Had Leupold mounts and Zeiss scopes.
