For Huntsville area guys...

I need to replace the shocks/struts on my F150 and would like to go with Bilstein leveling struts on the front. Has anyone around Huntsville had this done and can recommend where to go? Not real sure I want to rent a spring compression tool...they look dangerous and I have no experience with them. I can do the rear shocks myself.

Thanks.

The rear shocks should be no problem I have changed the rear shocks on my Tundra but I will let some one that knows what they are doing change the struts.

No spring compressor needed if you buy a strut/spring assembly or use a spacer.
Personally, I would use a strut spacer. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-F150-2-FRONT-LEVELING-LIFT-KIT-2004-2015-2DW-4WD-F2-0T-NG-/121595260427 I've had good luck with these guys from Georgia.

Rear shocks are a no brainer.

I used d&m automotive in Owens cross rds. They installed all 4 Bilstein 5100s on my Titan for $150. Well worth it in my opinion. Their number is 256-725-2886.

jchurch,

Did they order your Bilsteins, or did you order and take to them for install?

I ordered them from total automotive performance. Great price and fast shipping.
