Got invited to hunt here today and tomorrow by a friend. Don't know much on this area but my friend is trying get me join, already been in my club for over ten years so this would be a 2nd club. It's just a short piece down 265 south not far for Wilcox co alternative school. Guy just joined this year and hasn't hunted a lot so he doesn't know a whole lot besides it has a ton of sign. No matter the extra 2 weeks would be nice, just a long travel. Thanks in advance on what you think.

What club in pine apple?

A lot of my fraternity brothers grew up and still live in Camden. Used to really enjoy going home with them during deer season and hunting around Millers Ferry. Big deer and a lot of deer.

I wouldn't expect deer like the above picture on every lease in Camden. That club is an exceptional club on a great piece of property.

However, Camden/Miller's Ferry does have plenty of good deer.

Yes it is! I was lucky enough to turkey hunt it this past season and the camp house proves what kind of deer they can produce. They had several skulls found on the property of deer in the 160-170" range. However, little out of my price range at $10k

That Pineapple area is awesome. I hunted in Furman for years till the landowner went way up on the lease. Best place I ever hunted.

I hunt about 10 miles west of Camden on the river and we have a LOT of deer and a few good ones. Like hunting the river bottoms; except this year the bottoms became the river for 2 weeks.

Tell me about it! I have a food plot in the River bottom I haven�t laid eyes on since the week before Christmas!

We used to have a cabin at Millers Ferry and have literally hunted in all directions from there. I like the Miller's Ferry area and the area along the river north of Camden, west of hwy 41. There are some great places across the river as well. I would definitely do your homework, because there are some places that are not nearly as good as others. The area just south of Millers Ferry along the river, Hwy 20,19, etc... used to be really good as well.
