He saw there were not any does in the field and went directly back where he came from... So close! Maybe he will come back this afternoon.

Not sure why I'm so excited because this will be my 17th hunt on this piece and have only seen 1 deer. I'm sitting a couple hundred yards from the front gate trying to mix it up in a spot no one has stepped foot on this season. Looking to fill up the freezer!

Saw lots of chasing and heard a lot of grunting. I usually can't sit in one spot too long but I sat till almost 10:30 this morning. Saw deer most of the morning.
