One antler was broken off at the base and had rounded off like it had been that way a long time. The other side was not big but hard and normal looking.

The biggest buck weight wise that ive killed had no balls. Weighed 205 lbs. Only deer I ever shot with a 7ultra quartering that didn't have an exit.

Only accurate rifles are interesting.

I shot this buck in Texas during November 2013. He had not nut inside or out. He still had velvet hanging as seen in the picture.

I shot this muley in Nebraska in 2011. He had one nut but it was inside his body and was the size of a cigarette butt. That wasn't the strangest part. This buck was a big bodied deer but his neck was the size of a softball. I wasn't going to shoot him but after watching him for a while I knew something wasn't right. After the shot, when I walked up to him he had no antlers. They had fallen off while he ran 25 yards or so. They didn't "shed" off like normal antlers, they fell off the bases. Each antler is hollow for about 3" up in the main beam. I've never seen anything like it.

BGH - I killed a whitetail in Pickens County in the 90's with pretty much the exact same looking antlers and configuration. Only exception is the one I killed had enough hard antler that they were still attached to the knobs underneath pretty well - they are capped over them - and still pretty tightly attached today.

And yes - no package - nothing. He also had the look of a steer like that mulie - big bulky body and shoulders and a very skinny neck.
