I put my brother in law out on a section of land where I knew he could kill his first buck so he did! Now I went to cut the nuts off to make him a deer sack gearshift cover only to find that It didn't have any. No scar or anything. Looked inside when we skinned it but didn't find them. It had a penis. Just no nuts. Anybody know what causes this? Anyone seen it before?

I killed one last year on one of our farms in Louisiana. A really nice 8pt that stunk and was all rutted up. Hung him up to start skinning and no sack. Nothing, slick just like a doe. I've killed the in the past where the sack was messed up but most had strange antlers and still in velvet. I talked to our local biologist and he told me that his testicles were more than likely up inside somewhere,kinda like horses will do sometimes. He will produce testosterone and go through all the stages of the rut and have normal antler growth and 99% of them like that are sterile. The nuts inside them are u able to cool down, therefore they are sterile. Did the buck have a normal looking set of antlers?

One of my hunting buddies shot an 8 pt last year that had a perfectly normal rack and stunk like crazy. This deer had no nuts, completely slick. Shot while chasing a doe.

I killed a deer with no nuts and another deer that had only one.

The one with no nuts was in full velvet the one that had one nut was a 201lb goofy racked 7 point.

I blowed (with my gun you perverts)the pecker and nuts off a running deer last year.Don't really count but he dropped like a sack of taters.

Here's mine from this season. He had no sack and his nuts were the size of bbs with nothing attached to them. His glands were dark and he was walking about 30 yards behind a doe when I shot him.

several years ago, a member killed a nice buck on our lease on opening weekend of gun season, mid 130's, that was still in velvet. The buck had a slash on his sack that was infected. Looked like he probably slashed it on a bard wire fence. I figured the injury/infection affected his testosterone production so he never shed the velvet
