Hunting Black Warrior this morning. Set up in some short pines with honey suckles everywhere. I will have to be on my toes this morning. Haven't had a signal this past week where I have been hunting, but I didn't have anything to report anyways. Lol. Good luck y'all.

Well my day did not start good. I woke up late... Lost my jacket on the way in had to go back and find it. Luckily I found it and I am now all settled in... Hunting some army corps land this morning. Lots of fresh scrapes and some good runs in the area. Hopefully the good liars smiles on me this morning. Good luck everyone

It's a pretty spot. The water got up a good bit after the rain last week, messed it up a bit. Now that the waters back down the deer seem to be moving back through. The problem with climbing in here is the base of the trees are all wide. The tree I'm climbing is actually in the water that's 8 or so inches deep, not ideal but it's all there is

Climbed a many a trees in the swamp like that. Sometimes it takes an act of congress to get in the that is needed. I've actually had too screw in a step or two to get up high enough to get in the climber.

country my favorite tree ever stood in tree ft of water in a beaver pond. I had 6 screw ins to get up to it. The day I planted fall plots I placed a climber on that tree and never returned till the rut.

Back behind the house again.

Sat all day, 5 pointer at 0645, 2 does at 1620.
