My "Paw Paw" used to mix syrup and peanut butter together and eat it with a spoon for something sweet after his supper, especially fried bream. Can anyone relate to this?

Mix raw honey and peanut butter. Then mix in a big scoop of Cool Whip. It fluffs up like peanut butter pie. I like to scoop it with apple slices or graham crackers.

When I was a kid it was Golden Eagle Syrup poured over hot biscuits for breakfast. Sometimes I smashed some butter into it.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

clarke county in the 70's with my aunt and uncle. vanilla ice milk (poor man's ice cream) in a coffee cup with milk. i don't think ice milk is made anymore.

boiled cane syrup candy - raw peanuts in boiling cane syrup. turn out onto buttered tin foil so it wouldn't stick. didn't take much of this to quiet your sweet tooth.

i miss those days!

My dad used to tell me his mother would get up every morning and bake biscuits. She'd take one and press her thumb in it and fill it up with syrup. She'd wrap it up in a piece of newspaper and he'd take it to school for lunch.

We couldn't afford syrup and had to mash the peanuts between two rocks. What's a spoon?

Grandmother would always get that center biscuit for me and put a bit of butter and a spoonful of sugar and let it melt.

Wiley I always enjoyed Sorghum and butter with them biscuits too.

1. Heat up your cast iron skillet or griddle.
2. Spread some crunchy peanut butter on two pieces of bread.
3. Slice up a banana and out it on one piece of the bread.
4. Drizzle honey on top of the banana.
5. Put on the other piece of peanut butter bread.
6. Use real butter and butter the outsides of the sandwich.
7. Grill on both sides until golden brown and toasty.

Serve with a tall glass of ice cold whole milk.
