I have never known of anyone getting a ticket for hunting near a mineral site. I think if you were written up for doing this, they were mad because they couldn't write you for something else they suspect you were doing.

We were using buddy heater this weekend and my wife was able to shoot her first deer. We had been using another one but was noisy. We were in a shooting house so don't know if it made that big of a difference.

I get too worried about carbon monoxide to use a heater. If I can't layer up and stay warm I don't go. man i telll you , i been wet , cold , cold and wet . bout five years ago i got a heater and damn proud i did . it so easy to take that heater and a pop up blind , maybe i'm just getting older and been at it a long time . last two years i set up a blind on a field and when it's bad , wet and cold that where i get . the heater there is hooked to a 20lb bottle , lol
