Sorry, but you are wrong. I guessing in your situation in your first post, you lucked up and killed a buck. What you thought would have been considered a bad wind turned out not to be. Air currents can do some weird things. If you'll take a sliver of cotton and drop it from your stand next time you hunt, you'll see. I bow hunt most of the time and am far from a novice. I know for a fact a deer can wind you from 20' up a tree.

That's all I'm trying to tell the guy..well and that wind is a major pressure factor on a 20acre hunting tract.Think he just got upset I called him weird..

You think and also absolutely wrong when I gave a young hunter on his third year of trying to kill his first deer sound advice. The 20 acre thing, I still don't get it. I guess a deer can smell your dirty rear, at a half mile. To me, you are the troll.

thumbup I'm done with you.

Now they get my scent and run to me? Try again and I'm pretty sure a big buck scared them. As for where I walked, I walked straight up the creek. They came from the private property hill side and after getting hit they went to the private property on the low side. There was a large harvested field, they entered it. I could see their tracks headed straight away. I glassed the field. There were no houses for miles around. No chance to contact the land owner.

I bet you a dollar to a notch rested turd, I will increase my odds if I stick em on the upwind side so I utilize the dogs nose to my advantage. I always hunt the wind . I check the wind every time I hunt , I try to hunt cross winds . More times than not a mature buck will travel so he can check the winds . He is not going to travel much with the wind at his back if he can help it . Now if you a buttonbuck shooter just take a shucks out the stand it don't matter . Also even in the rut, I pay attention to the wind , that mature doe don't enter the field because she winded you , that Hard up buck just followed her the other way .

Definitely a Troll. I'd love to direct everyone's attention to how his name is spelled on his screen name and how he spelled it in this post. 2 different spellings. I would have to assume this is a certain admin with a hard on for what he calls the Minions. A little childish if you ask me. And for the record I think you're an "inconsolable dick" Codie or Cody or whatever you're going by

I hope not! Especially after being a sponsor here for a few years and still would be if I was at the same employer. Not to mention these sites aren't that expensive or hard to build.
