Newsouth_Greg OP spike N Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 11 Chilton	Starting to see the young bucks on the move in north Lowndes county. Occasional good buck spotted. Our rut appears to be on schedule for the middle of the month. Had 2 bucks this past weekend just "hanging out" with a does, not running or harassing them. Did enjoy some more seasonal temperatures that for sure.

The big boys are still a couple weeks out from getting started. The most "chasing" I saw last year was on Feb. 4th. You may miss the peak by a week but there will still be some snooping around.
