Last day of the year! It's damp, drizzling rain, and the Skeeter's are buzzing, but I'm thankful to be in the woods as day breaks. I hope everyone has great new year in 2016. Good luck all.

Hunting Wheeler Wildlife Refuge this morning. Found a dry spot and got up a tree. If I kill something it will be pure luck. I have killed deer in here in the past, but it wouldn't under these conditions. Good luck y'all.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

These are my favorite kind of mornings! First time I have sat on a food plot in a long time but man it's pretty and the pines behind me rolling off into a valley and s nice touch. Hopefully they will get up and move. Roll Tide!

Good luck! I tried to get to the woods this morning, the first spot I went to the road was flooded before I could get to it, the second spot was under water. Stay safe and shoot straight

We tried this am, wind was really bad and some limbs were falling by my son's stand so we are going to see if the wind dies down and try again this afternoon.

Set up on the ground in a Make shift blind on a high spot. Maybe I'll get lucky and a deer will cruise through here. Walked into this spot blind so my expectations are low at best. Good luck and stay safe.

Been settled in what we call white oak road since 1300. Had three hens work through at 1500. It's dead quite right now. Kinda weird.. I'm on my back up release this afternoon since I decided to leave my primary at the truck...

Smoked a doe this afternoon. Grim Reaper through both lungs. 50 yd death run. It was over in about 15 seconds. New Elite is 3/3 this year. Nice, We got back out there this afternoon but the wind was horrible.
