After the day I had I am so pumped to get back in the stand. I have all of next week off except for Tuesday but, they are calling for rain starting Monday through the following Monday. REALLY!!!!! Anyway; I have read were some people say not to bow hunt in the rain for various reasons(blood trails being the main reason)so what is the general consensus on here about it?

I've passed up several shots on good bucks because I was sure the rain would wash out the bloodtrail. I quit hunting in the rain with a bow for that reason.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Go for it. If you put a good enough shot on one you wont have to worry about a blood trail. Just be sure to dry your equipment off real good when youre done hunting. Also when your string gets saturated with water you will shoot low. Youll be fine if you keep your shots inside 30 yds. Dont let what others think keep you from bowhunting.

The only reason not to go is because you don't want to sit in the rain.

As of right now I am going to give it a try as long as it doesn't turn into a downpour.
