I have a EZ-go 2012 lifted cart which I really like but when hitting the woods it squeaks like crazy over rough terrain, is the anything that I can do to fix this?

Probably could oil up the springs, shocks and any bushings that are on it.

Mine does it every so often. Usually (it seems to me) after riding in dusty conditions. ???? I'll stay off all the springs and joints then spray it with WD 40. Fixes it right up. Might not be the right thing, but it works.

I'm gonna say, probably don't need replacing. My parent have a groundskeeper which is just a longer golf cart with a dump bed and you can hear it squeaking half a mile away. There's a lot of metal to metal contact on a golf cart and I have never looked closely but haven't seen any grease zerks that stand out.

Would it be better to try try a silicon based lubricant or just good old fashion WD-40?

Anything can be fixed with WD-40 these days.

Use "White Lithium" grease. It come in a spray can and it's what they use at the quick lube shops to spray you door hinges on your cars.
