been a really good year for us so far. we've killed 3, and let three bucks go already. could have killed a deer almost every time we've gone.

Been slow for me as well; not giving up hope but may change strategy. Still nice to be in the woods.

Hang in there man...couple seasons ago I went all season and saw 3 deer total...I hunted every which way to no avail but two of the three I killed and both were nice 8pts (the third was another shooter 8 that was with the one I killed) but it was the most frustrating season until I killed those...I went prolly 3-4 days a week as well

Proper management is key....cut your doe harvest and move your buck requirement to 8 point or better 3 year old and above. Plant what they want to eat and keep the pressure to a minimum success doesn't happen over night and it will take a couple years to see your results

Plus the moon phase and the weather hasn't been perfect. Last weekend I watched a deer bedded in a cutover never move from 630 to 1130...

I wish all my neighbors around my hundred acre tract were dumbazzes like you lol Instead I get the brown and down ones frown looks like another year of no kills on this property if my cameras hold true. I have a grand total of two does and two fawns left and I am willing to bet half of those will not make the season......

It's way too warm and we've got acorns everywhere. Most of our green fields are lush and long and it's obvious the deer aren't hitting them like normal.
Hopefully it'll get cold and they'll eat the acorns. Thankfully it's a long season but I'm not seeing the deer I normally see other than near my house but they know where they're safe
