Well we had one miracle with the Matthews bow in Tuskeegee a couple weeks back. Maybe history will repeat itself.

He didn't lose it on Skyline. 281 is the scenic drive to Cheaha and Abel is the community just over the Clebune county line. I'll be hunting in that general vicinity the next few days. I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

Damn - what'd he fall off a mountain with it and get knocked unconscious and wake in the hospital?

My weapon, bow or gun is always the first thing I put in the truck. Its a practice more need to adhere to. It was a miracle with the bow. I doubt this guy will be that lucky.

Yep, laying a rifle on the truck should be treated the same way as pointing a rifle at someone, an accident waiting to happen.

Maybe a mod will change it.

Exactly why I shared it here when I saw it .. Hate to see anyone lose a firearm.

I was up there today. The odds of someone seeing it on the side of the road is slim. But it could happen. Wonder if he propped it on his tire and drove off.

How could anyone forget their gun and leave it out? Some folks just need to stay in the house and be a wife.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Well I hope he finds his gun, but cmon how does one forget that, mine becomes part of me once it leaves the safe. In my 36 years of hunting I have never not known where my gun was or if I forgot it.
