Alright guys I'm looking at some new pants and jacket. I want something lightweight and warm so I can bow hunt cold weather. I'm liking the under armor stuff. But is there anything else out there. And what do y'all think about the UA?

I have the UA stuff. I like it because it is so quiet.

I just got some coveralls from Cabelas. They were the Herters brand. Not super high quality, but they are warm and seem durable enough. I can still move in them and shoot my bow fine. They were only 70bucks.

Good stuff. Hotter'n a 22-year-old college cheerleader.

Lots of good options. If money's no object look at Sitka or Arctic Shield. I bought a Sitka Kelvin Lite Hoodie jacket last week and it's every bit worth the money IMO. If you're on a budget check out Cabela's line including the Wooltimate. I have some UA InfraRed and it's good, too. I usually go to the wool in hard winter, though. It's tough to beat wool.

I have UA and its ok. Not worth $200 for pants if you hunt thick stuff. Briars tore them up pretty quick. Check out first lite.

I use the UA base layers, regular 6 pocket pants, flannel shirt or hoodie, fleece over pants and jacket, and if well below freezing I'll add a fleece vest, fleece beanie, fleece neck gator, fleece gloves and wool socks and mucks. Plenty thin/light for bow Hu ting and plenty warm.

Cabela's wooltimate pants and jacket for cold days. Having a wind barrier is huge on those cold days with some wind. I layer with minus 33 merino wool underneath. Not bulky at all and plenty warm.

Scent Blocker Alpha Fleece is the best stuff I have ever owned. Warm, light weight, and comfortable. If it gets really cold you can layer under it and still be comfortable.

I use Badlands gear. It is almost too warm most of the time in Bama though.
