I'm starting to understand why people hate them. I didn't realize that taking off work on a Friday and doing an all day sit was considered "Camping out on a spot". AND I was one of only 3 people on 1800 acres. The 4th got pissed when he showed up Friday afternoon and I was hunting near "His Spot"

Once you put the word "club" after the word "hunting" it's all down hill from there.

Wait till their kids bring about 3 friends each...
And go riding the four wheeler...ALL DAY long....

Tell him to pound sand. If he wants to hunt "his spot" tell him to get his azz there before someone else who wants to hunt "his spot". I had same situation yesterday morning with a guy. He didn't run his mouth he just got his feelings hurt and went right back home.

You should be more understanding of his feelings.

I guess we just got lucky and got in a good club. Been in the same one for seven years. All the complaints on this site about clubs should be easily averted. We have had the same set of rules since the club started 22 years ago. With the exception of small changes which are voted on at meetings by all members present. If no rules have been broken and someone has a complaint or got there feelings hurt they can either suck it up or hit the road.

Anytime you get a group of people together it happens. If you did nothing wrong, then they can get over it.

It all started 2 weeks ago when I showed him this picture and he realized it was near "One" of "His" many ladder stands.

Tell him to piss off. I'd beat him to the club every chance I got and hunt the hell out of where he considers his.

Here is the thing...Couple weeks ago him, me and my brother in law were the only ones there. We were talking about what we saw until he realized where I was. Then he got upset and said we were gonna have to draw straws or something and that I couldn't camp out on a spot. He also was pissed that we were sharing areas and what we saw with others. It was the 1st time I had hunted that spot.


Two weeks later..I'm back on a Friday with another member and his son. The 3 of us discuss where we are going Friday morning. Friday morning I let them know I'm staying all day but I forgot to pin out. They come back at lunch and the pissed guy has shown up. When the other guys tells him I just forgot and where I was hunting he started dropping f bombs about me and hunting all day in one spot "camping out".

The other hunter told him tough schit..Bill is just hunting.

Dude never got mouthy around me but dropped some hints Friday night. Saturday afternoon when I left at noon..I told everbody that I left my climber at x spot and deer were moving good there and to feel free to use it as I wouldn't be back till December. I'm sure that made him happy.

You should be kicked out for not pinning out! Nothing in the world wrong with hunting all day everyday in the same spot if you are the first one to pin out, but I'd be pissed if I froze my arse off to go get set up somewhere in the AM and I walked up on a hunter that forgot to pin out.

Sound advice.... You should get rid of all the good hunters and only keep people who have the proper "social aspect" to belong to a club..... Good hunters ruin it for all....

You gotta follow the rules pal. "Forgetting" to pin out is a bad deal all the way around. Dangerous at that.
