Same here Ill be bow hunting the southern zone and will probably have to miss Sunday of next weekend. So it looks like Halloween will be my opening day.

Didn't make it out. Getting the camper ready for the club and figured out I've got more work to do on it than I thought. I'll be heading down for my first hunt on the new club this weekend though.

Anybody done any good? I've only been able to make it out one evening so far. Didn't see anything but wasn't really expecting to either because of the weather.

I made it out Sunday. Shot a bobcat that morning, seen a small 8 and spike that afternoon.

I didn't hunt opening day Sunday. It was 80 plus degrees down here and I ain't that motivated yet.

Any of you arrow slingers had any luck? I got my muzzleloader dialed in so I'll get after them in a week or so.

Have not seen a deer since first week pf season. I seen 8 the first week, but since this hot weather its been tough.I got plenty of good bucks right after dark.not worried I have some prime land but im the only one hunting 800 acres.spaced out in 3 tracts.I really wont to kill one with my bow,but when rifle season gets here the 308 comes out.

Hunted a total of 5 hunts so far and haven't seen the first deer. I'll be out there this weekend for the gun opener though.

I'm ready to rock & roll in the morning, boys! I can already tell I won't sleep tonight..I'm too excited.

I struck out this morning and my 5 year old wanted to go this afternoon and we saw 3 does but by the time we got her ear muffs on and the window opened they were out of sight, but that was our first time actually seeing anything so she was tickled so it was a good day.

Well... I shot a doe last Sunday and forgot all about a picture because it was Sunday night and I was in a hurry. However, there will be more of those killed. I am leaving for Missouri this afternoon. From what I hear I will be on the tail end of their rut but maybe this full moon creeping will enhance a little bit of last minute activity. Hunted Saturday and Sunday morning and didn't see a thing. Actually nobody in our club saw much of anything. I'll be on the water Friday morning to open up duck season then back down to the club that night for the weekend. Good luck Reptar and congrats Tambo!
